Knowlton Compost Site: The compost site accepts grass clippings, pine needles, leaves, small branches, NO large branches, logs or stumps and NO garbage. The site is approximately 2.5 miles east of Hwy. DB on Hwy. C on the North side, and open Wedesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9 am to 4 pm, 2nd week of April thru the 2nd week of November.
Spring weight limits will come into effect Monday 3/9 upon posting of signs.
