Knowlton Compost Site: The compost site accepts grass clippings, pine needles, leaves, small branches, NO large branches, logs or stumps and NO garbage. The site is approximately 2.5 miles east of Hwy. DB on Hwy. C on the North side, and open on Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm, April 15 thru November 16.
In no instance will concrete driveways be allowed on the town road right-of-way. Only granite or blacktop may be put in place from your property line to the road. No one is allowed to fill in ditches. Permission must be obtained from the Town to place culverts in ditches.
